20th May 2014

Action Learning International launches in the Australian Not-for-Profit Sector on the 4th June 2014

Action Learning International is proud to introduce its proven process for assisting organisations in resolving a wide array of challenges, and doing so utilising available internal resources. In this manner Action Learning International focuses not just on the organisational challenge, but also on the development of its key staff in the process.

Dr Richard Hale of Action Learning International & David Rosenbaum of Optimum NFP, partner organisation for are meeting c30 CEO and Director / GM representatives to explore the appplication of proven business driven action learning in the Australian context.

Dr Hale says 'I am delighted that we have found a great partner to represent Action Learning International in the Australian market.  I visited Melbourne some years ago to work on action learning programs in the steel industry and financial services sector and am looking forward to returning this time to establish our organisation in Australia where there is a real lead being taken by the NFP sector.  There is a serious energy and commitment to action and taking a fresh approach to leadership & organisational development.  In fact the openness of Australians to business driven action learning was noted by the late doyen of Action Learning Professor Reg Revans which he mentions in our video interview with him filmed back in the 1980s.  Now we are able to bring accredited programmes supported by my colleagues who worked with him and I will be sharing my experience of developing the Action Learning Question methodology which has been gaining real traction in the UK over the past 12 years.'
